Pricing
You set the price. We quote the card.
There is no licence fee on the widget and nothing to pay until a card is printed. What a card costs to print and insert depends on your volume and your specification, so it is quoted rather than published.

The software
The account, the widget bundle, the API and the twenty-seven-design shared library. No licence fee, no seat count, no platform charge, and nothing that scales with traffic.

What the shopper pays
A number in your own snippet — the
setPricecall. Raise it for the holidays, drop it for a promotion, or set it to zero and give the card away. The demo on the home page runs at $5.00. -
Quoted
Print and insertion
Per card printed and packed. The quote depends on volume, on stock, and on whether you are printing the shared library or your own artwork. It is the only line you pay us.
The arithmetic
What it looks like against your order volume
Two published averages across GiftLift brands: about 12% of customers take the option when it is presented, and the average gift order goes up $4.04. Multiplied out, against orders you are already shipping:
| Orders offered the option, per month | Cards at 12% | Added order value at $4.04 | Over twelve months |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5,000 | 600 | $2,424 | $29,088 |
| 10,000 | 1,200 | $4,848 | $58,176 |
| 25,000 | 3,000 | $12,120 | $145,440 |
| 100,000 | 12,000 | $48,480 | $581,760 |
Those figures are the two published averages multiplied out, nothing more — they are gross added order value, before what the cards cost to print. Your own attach rate moves with where the widget sits in the flow, what you charge for the card, and how much of your volume is gift-shaped in the first place. A brand whose December is half its year will not see 12% in April.
Fulfilment cost does not move. Same carton, same carrier, same box you were already paying to ship — which is what makes this different from adding a product to the catalogue.
What moves the quote
Four things, roughly in the order they matter:
- Volume. Cards per month, and how lumpy that number is across the year. A brand that prints 3,000 every month and one that prints 36,000 in November are not the same job.
- Whose artwork. The shared library is ready to print. Your own designs need laying out once — the artwork, the message area, the typeface and the point size for that area — and then they behave the same as any other card.
- Where it prints. Whether UnDigital print hardware is already running in the fulfilment centre that packs your orders, or whether that is part of the work.
- Card specification. The library prints 5 × 7 at 300 dpi in full colour. Different stock is a conversation, not a barrier.
What is included
- The widget bundle, hosted and updated by us. There is no version of it in your repository to keep current.
- The public API and a widget ID scoped to your origins.
- The twenty-seven-design shared library, and the controls to rename, reorder and hide any of it.
- Printing, message setting and insertion into the correct carton at pack time.
What is not
- Design work on your own artwork, if you want cards drawn rather than laid out.
- Checkout development on your side. The snippet is two lines; storing the token against the order is however your platform does that.
Common questions
Is there a licence fee for the widget?
No. The account, the widget, the API and the 27-design shared library carry no licence fee. You pay for cards that get printed.
Who decides what the card sells for?
You do. The price is a number in your own snippet — the setPrice call — so you can change it for a season or a promotion without asking us. The demo on the home page is set to $5.00.
Why is the print price quoted rather than published?
Because it depends on volume, on whether you print the shared library or your own artwork, and on the fulfilment centre the cards are printed in. A published number would be wrong for most brands in both directions.
Does GiftLift add a shipping cost?
No. The card goes into the carton you were already shipping. There is no second parcel, no dimensional weight change worth measuring, and no separate delivery charge to pass on.
